I got to know about Vashtie for the first time perhaps in 2004 or something. She was Pharrell's girlfriend back then and I didn't know her any better. But I could definitely see one thing, that she's got a style which made me become obsessed about her later on. I don't really like to see girls wearing Jordans since they match them in too tomboy or ghettoish or stupidly awkward ways (e.g. AJs with neon orange sleeveless jersey one-piece which shows the upper-half of boobs along with all that tawdry accessories) most of the time. But she was different. I love her deep eyes, cute smile with dimples on her cheeks and her style. I wish we had such a female fashion icon in Korea. We lack cultural icons in here... or is anybody out there?
