Life

I'm missing the old days when I was freelancing so that I could have a lot of spare time reading and enjoying the sunshine as I sip some coffee. Not that I hate my job but it is way too busy and all the people just keep calling me. I'm getting like 3-4 phone calls at the same time these days. My life has never been like this. In fact, I used be more like an unresponsive person.

Anyway, I assisted my boss to pull out 2 big gigs during the past 2 weeks and now I'm ready to be distant from the office, chilling at my mom's house. The only problem is that people just keep calling me even if I'm on a vacation. How would they know that? Ahh I wish I could change my number at least during the vacation!

The Awesome Potluck

I finally pulled out the very first event that I planned as Hye of Mintgrove called The Awesome Potluck. As you may know by the name, it is a simple potluck party but the thing is, the participants are the readers of Mintgrove, because I think it is very important for me to connect to the readers and for the readers to connect with each other who share same interests face to face. There were only 4 participants and with 3 that I already knew, but it was still relaxing and fun. I hope to see more new faces next time....eeh and I found a perfect house to move in at last! I'm so excited to decorate my new house! It's gonna be the headquarters of my new project that I'm preparing in stealth. Bring some flowers, small trees, gold fishes...and food! You are always welcome!

BUSYBUSYBUSY

nah, i'm not busy. i just wanna make myself much busier than i am. i finally hit the gym in half a year today. it just astonishes me how lazy i've been. i was being such a loser and felt so lost recently. things definitely didn't go and work the way i wished. but rather than desparing and weeping, i'd go out, synthesize melatonin, and share my thoughts with the others. I'm moving out from the current room situated in a lousy neighborhood by the end of this month. and with this as a momentum, I'm gonna start a new chapter of my life!

Ooh...I labored a couple hours updating Mintgrove today. I love how it looks, and maybe it is my favorite theme i've ever done with the blog. A classic arabesque pattern and colors that stand out...which together look somewhat...i'd say...corny! You should check it out, too. (Sorry for non-Korean readers.)
